Building Your Vision
From the first idea to the final walkthrough, our process is designed to make building a custom home clear, collaborative, and enjoyable. Whether you begin with one of our existing plans or a completely custom design, we guide you through each decision while keeping design, budget, and construction working together.

Initial Consultation
Every home starts with a conversation. We take the time to understand how you want to live, the style you're drawn to, your must-haves, your property, and your overall budget. From there, we help determine the best path forward for your home.

Choose Your Starting Point
Choose an AppleJax floor plan as your starting point and customize the layout, features, and finishes to fit your needs, or work with us to develop a fully custom home from the ground up. Either way, the goal is the same: creating a home that feels distinctly yours.

Design + Budget
We work alongside you and our
design and trade partners to refine the plans, establish priorities, and make thoughtful decisions about where to invest. Our hands-on construction experience helps us identify opportunities to create impact while keeping the overall project aligned with your budget.04
Finalize Plans + Go Under Contract
Once the design, scope, and budget are aligned, we finalize the construction plans and
specifications and enter into a construction agreement. This establishes the project scope, and allows us to prepare for construction.05
Selections + Pre-construction
Finalize cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting, colors, and other selections while AppleJax coordinates permitting, vendors, trades, and the construction schedule. Making key decisions before construction reaches them helps keep the build organized and moving forward.

Break Ground
Once construction begins, AppleJax personally
manages the project, coordinating our trades, vendors, inspections, materials, and schedule. Our organized approach allows us to typically complete construction in approximately 4–6 months,
while maintaining the craftsmanship and attention to detail our homes are known for.07
Craftmanship + Custom Details
As the home takes shape, the details that distinguish an AppleJax home begin to come together. From cabinetry and millwork to trim, built-ins, architectural features, and carefully considered finishes, our craftsman background influences how the entire home comes together.

Final Walkthrough + Welcome Home
Before handing over the keys, we carefully walk the home, complete the finishing touches, and make sure everything is ready for move-in. Then it's time for the best part — seeing the home you've envisioned become the place you call home.
